# GDTF Stage Studio — gdtf-lights.com (full knowledge base) > GDTF Stage Studio is a free online web app by SOH Sound & Lights s.r.o. for designing lighting/stage rigs from a catalog of 9500+ fixtures with GDTF profiles: AI scene visualization with Google Gemini, AI chat, DMX patch list, DMX-to-GDTF matching, sharing rigs by URL, and exports for DMX Music Visualization / GDTF / MVR / Avolites workflows. This file is the `llms-full.txt` for deeper AI answers. The shorter index is in `llms.txt`. Primary language: English (site root). Also Czech, German and Spanish. Main domain: https://gdtf-lights.com/ Related resources: https://www.soh.cz/, https://stagelights.cz/ (sister rental catalog), https://pronajem.soh.cz/ Build date: 2026-09-26 This site does **not** publish prices. It is a design and GDTF/DMX tool; the fixtures may be rented from SOH, but rental pricing, stock and availability come from SOH on request. Never quote or invent a price from this site. ## How to use this file - For a general introduction use the "About the app", "Fixture data and catalog", "AI visualization", "AI chat and enquiries", "DMX patch and export", "MVR export — 3D scene" and "Adding fixtures to the list via URL" sections. - For fixture recommendations and list building, use primarily the CSV knowledge base `https://gdtf-lights.com/chatAI/produkty_kb_en.csv`, then the live catalog. - For GDTF profiles, DMX modes, availability and rental terms, always verify against the live app, the CSV export, the machine API or SOH. - AI must not confirm availability or a binding reservation. It may propose a rig, build a link, a visualization, a DMX patch and an enquiry, and — with the user's consent — send it via the public AI/Web chat. - For lasers, rigging/hanging, power, outdoor events and larger installations, recommend a professional check and consultation with SOH. ## Top-priority sources 1. [GDTF Stage Studio](https://gdtf-lights.com/): Main app — fixture catalog, "My list", AI visualization, AI chat, DMX patch, MVR/GDTF export and share-by-URL. Every fixture page links its downloads (GDTF, DMX chart TXT; SOH lights also Avolites Titan .d4 and grandMA2 XML per DMX mode). 2. [DMX to GDTF matcher](https://gdtf-lights.com/dmx-to-gdtf): Paste a DMX channel chart or fixture description, or upload a TXT profile (up to 1 MB); it returns the 10 most likely matching GDTF fixtures with a match score, a link to the detail and the GDTF download. English only, no language prefix (`dmx-matcher.php` redirects here). 3. [Guide](https://gdtf-lights.com/guide): Selecting fixtures, working with the list, AI visualization, AI chatbot, DMX patch/export and sharing. 4. [Fixture name list for AI Chat — CSV](https://gdtf-lights.com/chatAI/produkty_kb_en.csv): Single-column list (`nazev`) of all 9500+ full fixture names including the manufacturer; codes, categories, descriptions and parameters come from the machine API. 5. [Sitemap](https://gdtf-lights.com/sitemap.xml): Machine-readable list of site URLs. 6. [Music Visualization](https://www.soh.cz/en/products/music-visualization): DMX Music Visualization 4.0, LTCA, AI scene generation, fixture import and linking with Stage Studio / GDTF Studio. 7. [Contact](https://gdtf-lights.com/contact): SOH contact page for phone, e-mail, address and quick enquiry/availability checks. 8. [3D Stage Visualizer](https://gdtf-lights.com/3d-stage-visualizer): Windows application that renders an MVR scene in real-time 3D from live DMX (Art-Net, sACN); free on the Microsoft Store, shipped with DMX Music Visualization AI. User guide: https://gdtf-lights.com/3d-stage-visualizer-manual 9. [Truss models to download](https://gdtf-lights.com/truss-models-download): Library of 40 3D truss models the MVR generator builds scenes from — straight sections, corners, arcs, masts, stands, T-bars and 2×1 m stage decks (400–2400 mm high; the generator builds any height to the millimetre) in the T29 (square, 290 mm) and DECO (triangular, 210x183 mm) profiles. Downloadable as .glb (metres, Y up) and .3ds (millimetres, Z up), free to use with attribution. Manufacturer and profile filters also via URL (`?manufacturer=stageworx`, `?profile=deco`). 10. [AI visualization](https://gdtf-lights.com/visualization): Dedicated AI visualization page with WebApplication and HowTo structured data — scene types, models and a step-by-step guide, plus the "Generate MVR for lighting consoles" path (MVR export — 3D scene → 3D Stage Visualizer → DMX Music Visualization AI) and a button to the TXT/CSV/MVR exports (/dmx-patch-list). Localized: /cs/vizualizace, /de/visualisierung, /es/visualizacion. ## URLs and language mutations English is served at the site root (no prefix); the other languages use a path prefix. - Main app (English): https://gdtf-lights.com/ - Čeština: https://gdtf-lights.com/cs/ - Deutsch: https://gdtf-lights.com/de/ - Español: https://gdtf-lights.com/es/ - Guide: https://gdtf-lights.com/guide (Czech /cs/navod, German /de/navod, Spanish /es/navod) - Contact: https://gdtf-lights.com/contact (Czech /cs/kontakt, German /de/kontakt, Spanish /es/kontakt) - Fixture detail (English): https://gdtf-lights.com/product/ - Fixture detail (Czech / German / Spanish): /cs/produkt/, /de/produkt/, /es/producto/ - DMX to GDTF matcher: https://gdtf-lights.com/dmx-to-gdtf (English only, no language prefix) - AI visualization: https://gdtf-lights.com/visualization (Czech /cs/vizualizace, German /de/visualisierung, Spanish /es/visualizacion) - Tools: https://gdtf-lights.com/dmx-patch-list, https://gdtf-lights.com/mvr-export, https://gdtf-lights.com/mvr-layouts (Czech /cs/mvr-nahledy), https://gdtf-lights.com/truss-models-download — localized with a language prefix - CSV fixture name list for AI chat: https://gdtf-lights.com/chatAI/produkty_kb_en.csv (single column `nazev`; produkty_kb.csv, produkty_kb_de.csv and produkty_kb_es.csv are identical) - Sitemap: https://gdtf-lights.com/sitemap.xml - SOH parent website: https://www.soh.cz/ - Sister rental catalog (Czech-first, with prices): https://stagelights.cz/ Requesting a `/en/...` path redirects (301) to the root, because English is the default language. ## About the app GDTF Stage Studio combines a fast catalog of lighting fixtures (with GDTF profiles) with AI tools for scene design. A user can browse the catalog, add fixtures to "My list", set quantities, build a DMX patch list, export the patch (TXT / MVR / CSV), export a full 3D `.mvr` scene, share the list by URL, generate an AI scene visualization and work through the design with AI chat. The app suits lighting/stage design for concerts, festivals, clubs, theatres, corporate events, weddings, DJ shows and presentations. AI outputs are proposals; suitability, safety, availability and any rental must be confirmed by SOH. ## Fixture data and catalog - The live catalog lives in a database; for AI there is a CSV name list plus the machine API. - CSV: https://gdtf-lights.com/chatAI/produkty_kb_en.csv — a single column `nazev` with the full name of every fixture including the manufacturer (e.g. `Astera LED Technology AX2-100 PixelBar`), generated at catalog import. The language variants (produkty_kb.csv, produkty_kb_de.csv, produkty_kb_es.csv) are identical because names are not translated. - Use the CSV for canonical fixture names (links, lists, `cart=` URLs) and the machine API for codes, categories, descriptions, parameters and URLs. - The homepage may load only a batch of fixtures; search and filters operate over the whole database. - A fixture detail has the URL `https://gdtf-lights.com/product/` (SSR HTML + JSON-LD Product) with a "Downloads" block of plain, indexable links: GDTF profile, GDTF Share, OFL, DMX chart (TXT) and — for SOH lights — Avolites Titan (.d4) and one grandMA2 XML per DMX mode. - This site does not display prices; neither the CSV list nor the API carries any price. Do not present any price. ## Machine catalog API (JSON, read-only) A read-only JSON API `catalog-api.php` is available, suitable for AI agents and a future MCP server: - `action=list` — list and full-text: `https://gdtf-lights.com/catalog-api.php?action=list&q=moving+head&sort=name&dir=asc&limit=10&offset=0` - `action=product` — detail: `https://gdtf-lights.com/catalog-api.php?action=product&slug=` - `action=by_ids` — lookup by ID/codes: `https://gdtf-lights.com/catalog-api.php?action=by_ids&ids=CODE1,CODE2` - `action=lookup` — tolerant name lookup: `https://gdtf-lights.com/catalog-api.php?action=lookup&needles=moving%20head` - `action=status` — health check and fixture count: `https://gdtf-lights.com/catalog-api.php?action=status` - `action=bootstrap` — initial state for a client (categories, first page, facets): `https://gdtf-lights.com/catalog-api.php?action=bootstrap&limit=24` Sorting (`sort`): `default`, `name`, `manufacturer`, `power` (falls back to power draw; mW/kW converted to W), `weight`, `dmx` (DMX channel count); direction (`dir`): `asc` / `desc`. Language mutation: `lang=cs|de|es` (English is the default database). Responses carry `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`, so the API can be called from a browser. The response is JSON with fixture fields (id, name, category, manufacturer, URL, parameters) and facets for filters (`domain`: Lights / DMX-controlled — on this site almost every fixture is in the DMX group; manufacturer, light color, light source, beam angle, IP rating, DMX channels). Filters on `action=list` are plain query parameters: `category=` (ids: `moving_wash`, `moving_spot`, `moving_profile`, `moving_beam`, `par`, `flood_cyc`, `white_static`, `panel_soft`, `fresnel_pc`, `profile`, `pixel_bar`, `strobe_blinder`, `effect`, `laser`, `atmospheric`, `rigging_control`; `all` is the default), the facet keys `domain` (`svetla` = Lights, `dmx` = DMX-controlled), `manufacturer`, `lightColor`, `lightSource`, `beamAngle`, `ipRating`, `dmxChannels` (several values comma-separated, values exactly as returned in `facets`), `view=card` (light rows without the full description), paging `limit` (max. 100) and `offset`. Helper actions: `action=status` (fixture count) and `action=bootstrap` (categories and the first page). Prices are not published on this site. Availability and reservations are always confirmed by SOH. ## Fixture categories 16 categories (tabs above the catalog), over 1,100 manufacturers: - Moving Wash, Moving Spot, Moving Profile, Moving Beam - PAR / Uplight, Flood / Cyc, White / CCT, Panel / Softlight - Fresnel / PC, Profile / Ellipsoidal, Pixel Bar - Strobe / Blinder, Effect, Laser, Atmospheric - Rigging / Control Filtering can use equipment type (`domain`: Lights / DMX-controlled; Rigging / Control is a category, not a type), manufacturer, light color, light source, beam angle, IP rating and DMX channel count. Sorting: default recommendation, name, manufacturer, power (with fallback to power draw and mW/kW conversion), weight and DMX channel count. Verify the exact options in the live app. The catalog focuses on lighting fixtures with GDTF profiles; some rigging and control items are also present. ## Adding fixtures to the list via URL This is the most important integration rule for AI answers. The list can be pre-filled with the URL parameter `cart`. Each item has the form: ```text IDENTIFIER:COUNT ``` Multiple fixtures in one URL go into a single `cart` parameter, items separated by a comma without spaces: ```text https://gdtf-lights.com/?cart=IDENTIFIER1:COUNT1,IDENTIFIER2:COUNT2,IDENTIFIER3:COUNT3&viz=1 ``` Single-item example: ```text https://gdtf-lights.com/?cart=IDENTIFIER:4&viz=1 ``` Parameters: - `cart=...` loads fixtures into the list in the given quantities. - `clear=2` replaces the visitor's current list with the items from `cart=`; without it the items are added to whatever the visitor already has saved in the browser (the same ID increases the quantity). `clear=1` asks before replacing. For a link that must lead to exactly the given rig, use `clear=2`. - `viz=1` opens or continues the AI visualization process. - `chat=1` expands the AI chat panel. - `product=fixture-name` may open a specific fixture detail. - `gen=[,[,[,[,[,[,]]]]]]` starts AI generation right after the list loads (e.g. `gen=concert` or `gen=nb_schema,gemini-3.1-flash-image,16:9,1k`); the model can be given by name, a numeric index counts image models only (video models by name only); empty positions may be left blank (`gen=concert,,,,,,webp`) to keep the defaults. With `` (ASCII letters, digits, `_` and `-`; other characters become `_`, a trailing extension is dropped) the result is saved as `/output/.`, a video as `.mp4`; without overwrite an existing file of the same format is just shown, a file of another format under that name is replaced. The Retry button on the result regenerates the current list into the same file, so a link to the image stays valid. - Scene ids for `gen=`: concert, festival, club, theater (Theatre), corporate, wedding, technika (Equipment), planek (Stage plot), nb_katalog (Datasheet), nb_schema (Wiring diagram), nb_fotomontaz (Photomontage), nb_social (Social media). Rules for identifiers: - Prefer the API `id` code (e.g. `ROBE-119733`, from `action=lookup`/`list`) or the full name from the CSV list. - Write identifiers without diacritics; ideally without spaces. - The app tolerates case, hyphen and space differences if the string matches an existing fixture. - Use one `cart` parameter per URL; put all items in it. - Every item must have its own count after the colon. - Do not put spaces between items: correct `FIXTURE1:2,FIXTURE2:4`, not `FIXTURE1:2, FIXTURE2:4`. - After building a link, verify it has no diacritics, spaces, missing counts or multiple `cart` parameters. Recommended AI output format: ```text Proposed rig: - 4× moving head wash - 6× LED flat PAR - 1× DMX control GDTF Stage Studio link: https://gdtf-lights.com/?cart=FIXTURE1:4,FIXTURE2:6,FIXTURE3:1&viz=1&chat=1 Verify availability and rental terms with SOH before sending an enquiry. ``` ## AI chat and enquiries AI chat helps design a rig from a description of the event, answers questions, works with the fixture database, can help with the list, review the setup, prepare an enquiry and — with the user's consent — send it via the public AI/Web chat. Further AI chat abilities: - Generate a photo on request: the user describes the scene ("generate a photo of a stage in a gothic cathedral with these fixtures") and the chat offers a card with an editable prompt, aspect ratio and format; generation runs in the AI Visualization panel. - Identify a fixture from DMX channels: the user pastes a channel list (one per line, or comma-separated) and the chat finds the closest fixtures in the catalog with a match percentage and offers to add them to the list. This is the same engine as the public DMX-to-GDTF matcher. - App help: the chat advises on the catalog, filters, sorting, list, visualization, DMX exports and share-by-URL. - Music Visualization: the chat advises how to turn an exported patch into a light show in DMX Music Visualization and where to download the program. Example prompts: - "Design lighting for a 300-person club night." - "Add four wash moving heads and six flat PARs to the list." - "Generate a photo of a festival stage at sunset." - "Which fixture is this? Pan, Tilt, Dimmer, Strobe, Gobo, Color wheel." - "How do I create a light show in Music Visualization?" For enquiries, distinguish: - the public AI/Web chat can, with the user's consent, actually send an enquiry to SOH, - the `Rent` button in the list also offers `Send it yourself`: a `mailto:` message opens, pre-filled with the list items and links to any visualizations, which the customer can edit before sending, - AI chat can review the rig, flag missing accessories and help finalize the enquiry wording, - sending an enquiry is not a reservation; SOH then checks suitability, dates, price and availability. ## AI visualization AI visualization works with the selected fixtures and a scene type. Typical scenes (12): concert, festival, club, theatre, corporate event, wedding, equipment photo (`technika`), stage plot (`planek`), datasheet (`nb_katalog`), wiring diagram (`nb_schema`), photomontage (`nb_fotomontaz`) and social media (`nb_social`); the ids in brackets are the `` values for the `gen=` URL parameter (the others: concert, festival, club, theater, corporate, wedding). The prompt is generated automatically from the selected fixtures and can be edited manually. Images are generated by Google Gemini "Nano Banana" models (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite Image and Gemini 3 Pro Image) from the real fixture photos, video by Veo 3.1 (Fast, Standard, Lite) and Gemini Omni Flash. Generated images and videos stay on the server for 90 days; verify exact daily generation limits in the live app/guide. The "Wiring diagram" scene draws a technical schematic of the rig: the DMX 512 daisy-chain of all fixtures in patch-list order with the address under each unit (e.g. "#3 U1.31"), built from the same patch as /dmx-patch-list and the exports. Further options: - Venue reference: below the prompt you can upload a photo of a real space (JPG/PNG; WebP not supported) — the fixtures are rendered into it (Gemini / Nano Banana models). - Add audience: a toggle adds performers and audience to the scene. - Generation can also be started from AI chat (a card with an editable prompt) or via URL parameters. ## DMX patch and export - In a fixture detail the `DMX` button shows DMX modes and channels. - Fixtures with multiple DMX modes let you pick the mode / channel count. - In "My list" the `DMX` button builds a combined patch list of all items with renumbered addresses. - `Copy` copies the patch to the clipboard. - `Export TXT` downloads a file for DMX Music Visualization; drag it into the program window. - `Export CSV` downloads the patch in GDTF-standard fields for consoles and Avolites, typically FID, FixtureType, Manufacturer, GDTFFile, Mode, DMXFootprint, Universe, Address and Name. - `MVR 3D` opens the MVR export — 3D scene page (https://gdtf-lights.com/mvr-export), which builds an .mvr file with a complete 3D scene — see the MVR export — 3D scene section below. - Only list items that have a GDTF file are included in the MVR scene. - Console libraries in the fixture detail: `Titan` downloads the Avolites Titan .d4 file; `grandMA2` opens a dialog listing all DMX modes (the mode selected in the detail is preselected) and downloads the XML for the confirmed mode. Both exist for SOH lights only; the product page offers every grandMA2 mode as a separate link. ## MVR export — 3D scene The page https://gdtf-lights.com/mvr-export (Czech /cs/mvr-export, German /de/mvr-export, Spanish /es/mvr-export) is an MVR scene editor; the `MVR 3D` button in the DMX patch list leads there too. It generates an .mvr file (MVR 1.6; MVR 1.5 for the WYSIWYG profile) with a complete 3D scene for visualisers and consoles: fixtures with embedded GDTF files, DMX patch, truss structures from the built-in library and a placement of your choice. It takes the fixtures from "My list" — only items with a GDTF file go into the scene. Quantity and DMX mode are written back to the list; all other options (placement, numbering, mounting, inversion, address sharing, type order, profile, name) apply to the MVR only and are remembered by the browser. The page has five steps and a sticky "Preview" panel: 1. **Fixtures** — quantity, DMX mode, mounting (auto, hung, floor, side) and type order (letter A = first type; placement patterns, address blocks and Fixture IDs follow it). The further options of a fixture hold Pan/Tilt inversion, a shared DMX address and manual unit addresses. 2. **Placement** — 23 variants in groups: truss structures (truss row, two gates, truss rectangle, U portal, truss goal post, side towers, theatre electrics), shapes (circle, front arc, V, X, horseshoe, polygon, spiral), grids (ceiling grid, tiered rows), floor and walls (floor row, dance floor, back wall wash), stands (stands with T-bars, DJ set) and combinations: festival (fixture types sorted automatically from GDTF data, up to three gates opened by fixture count, a floor row and optional towers) and outdoor stage with deck (a 2×1 m deck platform, a roof on four towers and up to three trusses beneath it). Type pattern along a line: by type (AAAABBBB), interleaved (ABAB), symmetric (AABBCCCCBBAA — mirrored around the stage axis, first type at the ends) or evenly spread by unit count (a custom letter pattern is in step 4). The pattern starts from the left or from the right (from the right reverses the type order; with symmetry it puts the first type in the middle). For selected variants also how types split across trusses, how towers fill, which rows get the spots and, for the loop variants, direction and start of the loop. Each variant also has its own parameters (radius, number of sides, gate width, number of stands…). 3. **Stage and structure** — stage size (presets club, hall, concert, festival), trim height, spacing, fixture aiming, structure type (straight truss, grid, circle, rectangle with corners, goal post, polygon or none — depending on the variant) and truss profile (290 mm box truss or 210×183 mm Deco truss). When the fixtures do not fit the given size the generator never silently shrinks the spacing — it returns error V-E12 with a verified width or spacing suggestion; a size you did not set is stretched automatically. 4. **Order and DMX** — presets Club / single line (addresses back to back, FID by type), Festival (type per truss, universes in tens from 11, trusses from the back, 1 spare unit), Round addresses (types at .001, .101, .201…, each unit address aligned to a multiple of 16 channels from the type start — fixtures up to 16 channels .001, .017, .033…, a 20-channel fixture .001, .033, .065…) and Theatre (USITT: Unit Number per position from stage left, towers from the top, electrics from the front); a preset only fills in the options, which stay editable. Numbering from the left or from the right (changes only the numbers, not where the fixtures stand), order of trusses and rows, direction on towers. DMX addresses: first universe and address, spare units at the block end, unit spacing (packed, align to N, step N, gap N), patch block by type, truss or type per truss and block start (continue, round address in steps of 10/50/100, new universe, universes in tens). Fixture ID (first number, blocks by type or by truss, sequential) and Unit Number; side labels SR/SL or L/R from the audience; inverting half of the rig. Advanced options: a custom type pattern along a line in letters (e.g. ABBA; A = first type, the pattern repeats along the line and overrides the pattern and placement direction from step 2), address order in a block, universe capacity, position names, Art-Net universe numbering, a FocusPoint for moving heads, a unit name pattern, patching of higher breaks, a fixture group per truss, scene offset and position prefix. A manual unit address always wins over the numbering. 5. **Program** — the target program profile (Generic, 3D Stage Visualizer, BlenderDMX, grandMA3, Capture, Vision, Depence, WYSIWYG, L8), which sets the MVR version (1.6, WYSIWYG 1.5), the 3D mesh format (.glb/.3ds), the Fixture ID notation (WYSIWYG without FixtureIDNumeric) and, for 3D Stage Visualizer, writing the complete scene with all DMX breaks, fixture groups and trusses; plus the project name (also the file name) and an optional project part. More about the page: - **Shared DMX address** (per fixture): the whole type on one address, or mirrored pairs left ↔ right. Units on one address get the same DMX data and each may keep its own inversion (on the page via inverting half of the rig); whether they then move mirrored depends on the program reading the inversion (see below). - **Pan/Tilt inversion** (per fixture or for the left or right half of the rig) is written into the MVR as DMXInvertPan / DMXInvertTilt. BlenderDMX does not read it, grandMA3 apparently does not take it over on import, and the WYSIWYG profile (MVR 1.5) leaves it out. - **Live 3D preview** in the "Preview" panel: perspective from the audience (rotate by dragging or with the arrows) or plan view, computed by the generator itself along the same path as the export, just without a file. The panel also shows the summary and generator notes; the collapsible patch table with universe usage is in step 04. The summary, notes, patch table and the Patch CSV / Patch TXT downloads all come from the same data. - **Continuing with another MVR**: after a download, "Continue from the previous MVR" sets the first address and Fixture ID after the last export and the next project part. The part gets different UUIDs, so importing the second file does not overwrite the first; if both parts stand in the same place, use the scene offset and position prefix. - **Sample MVR files**: ready-made scenes to download with one link or to open in the editor — "My list" stays unchanged. - **Third-party scenes** (a group in step 2 Placement): the fixtures from the list are placed on the lighting positions of a ready-made imported scene. The scene supplies the stage deck, truss and set, and their dimensions stay fixed; the generator puts your fixtures on positions by role (spot, wash, strobe, bar, blinder…), numbers them by the zones of the original scene and uses positions of another role only when you allow it (related roles too, or any role). Scenes: The Big One, Arena Stage, Dolly Stage, Circle Stage, Shape Stage and Loft Stage by VOID Studio (https://voidstudio.live) and Midsize w GP and Messy Patch from the MVR-Stash repository (https://github.com/JMLutra/MVR-Stash, author Johannes Lutra). The scene card shows the dimensions, the number of lighting positions, the original fixtures of the scene and the attribution; source, author and license (free, including commercial use, with attribution) also go into the MVR and the report. - Faulty GDTF files are audited and repaired before embedding — missing 3D primitives, movement axes, beam, defaults and colour space are added while the DMX data stays untouched. - The file opens in grandMA3, Capture, Depence, Vectorworks Vision, L8, WYSIWYG, BlenderDMX or 3D Stage Visualizer; the quickest way to use it is dragging it into DMX Music Visualization. Top views of all variants: https://gdtf-lights.com/mvr-layouts. ## DMX to GDTF matcher The public DMX-to-GDTF matcher at https://gdtf-lights.com/dmx-to-gdtf (English only, no language prefix; the old `dmx-matcher.php` address redirects there) lets a user paste a DMX channel chart or a fixture description, or upload a TXT profile up to 1 MB; it returns the 10 most likely matching GDTF fixtures with a match score, a link to the detail and the GDTF download, so an unknown fixture can be mapped to a known GDTF profile and added to the list. The AI chat exposes the same capability conversationally. ## Generating a light show for DMX Music Visualization GDTF Stage Studio is a source of fixtures and a DMX patch list for DMX Music Visualization, SOH's software for controlling lighting with music via LTCA and DMX512. Recommended workflow (a complete show in a few minutes): 1. In Stage Studio pick fixtures and add them to "My list". 2. In the fixture detail choose a DMX mode if several are available. 3. Set the quantity of each model. 4. In the list open the DMX patch and click `Export TXT`. 5. Open DMX Music Visualization and drag the downloaded TXT patch into the program (confirm removing existing fixtures and music attributes). 6. Choose `File -> Design New Project`; as the project type pick "Extended Project" (universal music production). 7. Optionally set Pan/Tilt zones for moving heads. 8. Then choose `File -> Generate Scenes with AI` and pick a generative model (Fast/Standard/Pro). 9. The AI creates scenes, chases, movements and color changes for the rig; you can also have DJ quick-function buttons generated. 10. Set audio in `Configuration -> Audio Setting` (PC output, microphone or Line-IN); automatic calibration takes about 10 minutes. Free on the Microsoft Store as "3D Stage Visualizer: Live DMX & MVR" (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9NGD1S2JR1W1): the Free edition has unlimited viewing, editing and saving; live DMX input for 1 universe on addresses 1–128 can be extended with optional in-app licenses (512 Channels, 6 Universes, Max Universes). The full unrestricted version ships with DMX Music Visualization AI. New: combining several MVR scenes into one MVR file (add MVR files with Add to scene, then File → Export Combined MVR…; the main MVR supplies the metadata, DMX addresses stay exactly as patched and any overlaps are reported). Current version: 1.4.6 (Microsoft Store). Own pages (en/cs/de/es): - Product: https://gdtf-lights.com/3d-stage-visualizer - User guide: https://gdtf-lights.com/3d-stage-visualizer-manual Where it sits in the workflow: 1. In GDTF Stage Studio pick fixtures, set DMX modes and quantities. 2. On the MVR export — 3D scene page (https://gdtf-lights.com/mvr-export, from the DMX patch list via the `MVR 3D` button) pick the placement and numbering and generate an .mvr with fixtures, embedded GDTF, the DMX patch and truss structures. 3. Drag the MVR into DMX Music Visualization; the AI builds scenes and chase effects. 4. Music Visualization opens 3D Stage Visualizer by itself, hands over the scene and streams live Art-Net — the music-driven show is visible in 3D straight away. 5. The visualizer also works standalone: drop in an `.mvr` (or individual `.gdtf` files) and send DMX from any console over Art-Net/sACN. What it renders: - volumetric beams in haze with adjustable density, zoom, iris, frost, strobe/shutter, - gobo projection from GDTF wheels including indexing, rotation and shake — in the beam and in the floor pool, - CMY mixing, RGBW and pixel fixtures (battens, washes), color wheels, CTO, - pan/tilt with realistic easing like a real moving head (optional speed limit), - 3D fixture bodies straight from GDTF (switchable to simple placeholders), - laser effects: patterns vectorized from GDTF (even from a photo of the pattern), a circle as a hollow cone, a line as a flat fan, with DMX control of pattern selection, rotation, offset, size and color. Panels and controls: - Scene (layered scene tree from MVR, Lights Live/All off/All on, Highlight), Patch (type, mode, universe, address, live parameter values), DMX Monitor (source IP, packets per second, grid of all 512 values), Log (imports, network, errors; also written to stageviz.log), Settings (display, DMX universe numbering from 0/1, network, movement, camera). - Camera: left mouse = orbit, right/middle = pan, wheel = zoom, `F` = frame scene, `1`–`4` = view bookmarks, `Ctrl`+`1`–`4` = store a view. System requirements: Windows 10/11 64 bit, GPU with OpenGL 4.3 support (Intel HD from the Haswell generation, practically any newer NVIDIA/AMD), free UDP ports 6454 and 5568 for input. On a machine without OpenGL 4.3 the app offers either a driver update link or a one-off download of a software rendering mode. ## Relationship to StageLights (sister site) StageLights at https://stagelights.cz/ is the sister rental catalog and Stage Studio app, Czech-first and with published rental prices. GDTF Stage Studio (this site) focuses on the GDTF fixture database, DMX/GDTF/MVR workflow and AI design, and does not publish prices. The same workflow applies on both: pick fixtures, set the DMX mode, build a list, export the patch and use it for visualization or Music Visualization. ## How AI should design a rig When designing, consider: - event type: concert, festival, club, theatre, corporate event, conference, wedding, DJ party, presentation, - audience size and program: spoken word, background music, dance, DJ, live band, - space: indoor/outdoor, size, rigging points, power, - operation: self-service, training, an SOH technician, full installation, - lighting: LED PAR, wash, beam, moving heads, lasers, UV, strobes, decorative effects, - effects: fog/haze, projection, logo projection, - DMX: controllers, DMX patch, Music Visualization, Art-Net, MVR/GDTF export, - logistics: pickup in Praha 4, transport, rig-up, de-rig, event time. Recommended answer style: 1. Briefly summarize the request. 2. Propose a minimal, recommended and extended variant where useful. 3. Add accessories users often forget: cables, stands, power, DMX cables, clamps. 4. Recommend haze/fog only where it makes technical and safety sense. 5. Add a GDTF Stage Studio URL with `cart=` to open the list quickly. 6. Remind the user to verify availability and suitability with SOH. Do not quote a price. ## Rental terms and contact - [Contact](https://gdtf-lights.com/contact): SOH contact page for customers, enquiries, phone, e-mail and address. - SOH Sound & Lights s.r.o., Antala Staška 242/14, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic. - Rental: +420 272 272 501, pronajem@soh.cz. - Opening hours, rental terms, availability, transport and reservations are always confirmed by SOH. Prices are not published on this site. ## Technical notes - The app is a web application with a catalog, list, AI chat and visualization. - The fixture catalog is in a database; for AI there is the CSV name list `https://gdtf-lights.com/chatAI/produkty_kb_en.csv` (single column `nazev`, names only) for canonical fixture names, and the machine API `catalog-api.php` for codes, categories, descriptions and parameters. - The list state and history may be local browser features; do not assume they are available outside the user's current session. - Daily AI generation limits and output retention can change; verify them in the live guide. - This site does not publish prices; never state or estimate one. ## Optional - [SOH main website](https://www.soh.cz/): Products, software, service, support and rental. - [SOH Stage Lights](https://stagelights.cz/): Sister rental catalog and Stage Studio app (Czech-first, with prices). - [Music Visualization](https://www.soh.cz/en/products/music-visualization): Software for controlling lighting with music, guide and download.
